Using R8D Athlete

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use R8D Athlete.

You need to be at least 13 to have your own login. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

A child under 13 cannot sign up. A parent or guardian creates the child’s record from their own account, controls who can see it and agrees to these terms for the child. When you add a child under 13, the app asks you to confirm: “I am this child’s parent or legal guardian and I consent to R8D Athlete keeping their record.” Our privacy policy explains what we keep about children and how you review or delete it.

Your account

Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at support@pebbleplatforms.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Roles and records

One account can hold several roles: athlete, parent or guardian, coach and trainer.

• Athletes and guardians decide who can see an athlete’s record, and can change that at any time.
• Coaches and trainers can only evaluate athletes they are connected to, and should do so honestly and in good faith.
• Trainer directory listings need our approval. We may decline or remove a listing.

Membership and billing

R8D membership is billed monthly or yearly and covers every role on one account. A Family or Family Plus plan also covers up to two or four more accounts that join with its code, for as long as the plan is active. A parent’s membership covers every athlete they guard, including each athlete’s own login. The price and any trial are shown before you buy.

• Eligible first-time subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins.
• Memberships are bought on r8dathlete.com/membership and paid through Stripe, which processes the payment. We never see or store your full card details.
• Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. To cancel, sign in at r8dathlete.com/membership and choose Manage billing, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. Cancel before the end of the current period to stop the next charge.
• We may offer promotion codes, for example for a team or a beta group. A code is entered at checkout and its discount lasts as long as the offer says.
• To ask about a refund, email support@pebbleplatforms.com.
• If you cannot reach the billing page, email support@pebbleplatforms.com to cancel.

Signing up, setting up, reading records you can already access, invitations, profile editing, settings, notifications, data export and account deletion stay free. If we change the price, we tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

Your content

You own what you add to R8D Athlete. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you have given access, only as needed to run the app. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies kept briefly in backups.

Only add content you have the right to share. Film and booking links point to other services, which have their own terms.

Evaluations and ratings

Evaluations and ratings are the views of the coaches, trainers and athletes who give them. They are meant to help an athlete grow. They are not a guarantee of playing time, team selection, recruiting, scholarships or any other result.

AI plans and physical activity

AI goal plans are generated automatically and can be wrong. They are suggestions, not medical, nutritional or professional training advice. Goals, plans and challenges can involve physical activity. Know your limits, use proper supervision for young athletes and check with a doctor before starting anything new.

Rules for everyone

R8D Athlete is a place for young athletes to grow, so we hold everyone to a high standard. Do not:

• Harass, bully, threaten or demean anyone.
• Post anything sexual, violent or hateful, or anything unlawful.
• Give dishonest evaluations or pretend to be someone else.
• Share someone else’s personal information without their permission.
• Upload viruses, try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the app.
• Copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the app.

We may remove content or limit an account that breaks these rules. If you see something wrong, report it to support@pebbleplatforms.com.

Our app

The app, the R8D Athlete name, logo and artwork belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app under these terms. We keep improving R8D Athlete, which means features can change or be removed over time.

Ending your use

You can stop using R8D Athlete and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell you why.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep R8D Athlete available and accurate, but the app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in these terms, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, R8D Athlete is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for membership in the 12 months before the claim or $50 USD. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

App stores

These terms are between you and R8D Athlete, not Apple or Google. We, not they, are responsible for the app and its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also follow the App Store or Google Play terms.

If something goes wrong

Most concerns can be sorted out quickly. Before bringing a claim, email support@pebbleplatforms.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you.

Changes to these terms

When we update these terms, we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using R8D Athlete after that means you accept the updated terms.
